Many of the people in this Valley of the Mary River have been deeply hurt by the decision to build a dam at Traveston Crossing, without warning and due consideration to a number of extremely important pre-requisites.  Lives have been thrown into turmoil and many families have been experiencing great difficulties coping with life on a daily basis.

This is a page that we hope will bring some encouragement to those experiencing anxiety and a feeling of helplessness over this travesty of human dignity and justice.

God has solutions to our problems. Put your hope in God... Ps.42:5  Why are you downcast, O my soul?  Why so disturbed within me?  Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Saviour and my God.   Jesus extends a loving invitation ... Matt. 11:28-30  Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble and you will find rest for your souls.  For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
