Battle for the Mary - 3rd Anniversary Floatilla 26th April - Traveston Crossing
Submitted by NewsEd on Sat, 04/18/2009 - 15:57As the Mary river drops to a safe level for canoeing, we look forward to the coming Anniversary on Sun 26th April to celebrate the resilience of our community in the battle to save the Mary River for future generations to enjoy.
So dust off the canoe and join us early for the start of the canoeing at 1865 Mary Valley Rd (come in where the farmer is in the boat) at 9am with a registration form or come down to watch the finish at Traveston Crossing bridge at 11am.
Just confirming we will have Jerry Colby Williams as MC for the day and will be entertained after the canoe floatilla by a number of poets and musicians including the band The Barleyshakes.
So bring your family and some chairs down to Traveston Crossing for the day by the Mary River. Copy these links below and send the info on to family and friends
