Here's a good way to wind down after QWIPL's info day at Amamoor on Sunday 11th Nov...also note this is a great opportunity to meet with Senator Rachel Siewart and Larissa Waters(Was involved with the successful legal challenge to stop the Nathan Dam) at the Kandanga Pub late Sun afternoon. Rachel will also be the guest speaker at the Save the Mary EIS submissions Info night at Kandanga Hall at 7pm to talk on Desalination in WA and other alternatives to building Traveston Crossing Dam....

Music for the Mary
What: Musicians who have written songs about the Mary River will be joined by top local musicians for an afternoon of music dedicated to Saving the Mary River and the Mary Valley from the state government’s proposed dam. (No speeches!)

Who: Anyone interested in Saving the Mary:

Musicians, local residents, Save the Mary Committee reps, assorted politicians including local candidates for Wide Bay, Senator Rachel Siewart from the Senate Enquiry and Larissa Waters

When: This Sunday afternoon, November 11th, between 1-6pm

Where: The Kandanga Hotel, Kandanga (take the Amamoor turnoff on the Bruce Highway, south of Gympie, and follow the signs to Kandanga.
