Started working through the figures in the report. Got to the 2nd graph and the basic numbers are completely wrong! They can't even get the sizes of their storages right, or place them in the correct order of size - unbelievable.
Anyone who has actually visited the dams listed in figure 2 would immediately spot the absolutely honking out-by-a-factor-of-ten cockup in the data. I can only assume that the people in the water commission who wrote the report have not even visited the dams that they are supposed to be managing and planning - otherwise they simply could not have produced such rubbish.
This is the mob that we are entrusting the management of our water resources to! I'm now finding it very hard to potentially waste time going through the rest of the numbers in the report.
The problem is, other people who read the report are likely to accept and re-distribute the figure, because they simply would not suspect that the water commission would publish completely wrong information.
