QRC will be working closely with the AusIMM and the University of Queensland Sustainable Minerals Institute in supporting the Water in Mining Conference, which the AusIMM is hosting from 14-16 November 2006 in Brisbane.
The conference, with its theme of Multiple Values of Water, represents a unique blend of researchers, site practioners, and corporate representatives. The conference will focus on the gradual recognition of the true value of water and the industry’s efforts to count the full costs of water security.
