I have had composting toilets in both my bathroom and ensuite for over ten years now. Imagine how much water I haven't wasted in that time!

If anyone wants to know more about composting toilets first hand - just ask me.

Ask on this forum or ring me on 54 84 1116 or PM me or email me.

I have had people call in and ask to see these toilets - feel free to visit and even use them if you wish. Very Happy

I installed a Weekender Composting toilet in the outhouse near my shed. Well really Dave installed it but I had the idea and supervised the installation. It is by an Aus company called Nature Loo and cost less than $1000 in total. It includes 2 chambers so one can sit in the paddock composting while the other is in use. I rang the company in Bris and spoke to a very nice and efficient man and had all the parts within 2 days. The toilet is a black compartment that sits on the floor with a seat on top. Of course not as good as the real ones with the long drop but it still is worth every cent we paid for it. Especially for situations such as weekenders or sheds.

We lived in the shed for over 6 months and had 3 extra visitors for 2 weeks and the toilet was only 1/2 full. I would recommend them to anyone and have thought about replacing the flush toilet in our house. But unfortunately the toilet is right above the laundry door downstairs. So unless I redo the whole bathroom I can't have one.

I was so impressed with the service and the quality that I even sent the company a letter of thanks. I have never done that before. Very Happy
