17/4-20/4 - Floodwaters moving down river systems combined with heavy rain caused major flooding and loss of rice crops in the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area in south-eastern NSW, with Grifith, Leeton and Narranderra badly affected. The Burrinjuck dam reached capacity and water had to be released into the river, compounding the damage and problems.
