Apparently Elisa Roberts has made another comeback. She's running again.

Roberts back in the race for Gympie

Independent Gympie MP Elisa Roberts has done another backflip and announced she will run in the Queensland election.

Ms Roberts has changed her mind a number of times in the past few months about whether or not to continue her political career.

Last week she announced she would not run because of her health and attacks from political opponents.

But Ms Roberts now says she changed her mind after the Electoral Commissioner told her she could not withdraw from the election once she had nominated.

Ms Roberts says if she is re-elected, she will commit to serving the next term as the Member for Gympie.
