Get Involved ...Join Steve Posselt and bring your watercraft to the Canoe Floatilla. Join the dam protest 2nd year Anniversary paddle as part of Steve Posselt's epic kayak trip. Download registration form from this website.
Launching point with be at 1865 Mary Valley rd (gates open at 7.30am). Start at 9am. Paddle down from the junction where Kandanga ck joins the Mary River, through the proposed Traveston crossing dam wall location to finish at Traveston Crossing bridge at about 11.30am.
Learn about why this area is so important for the Australian lungfish, the Mary River turtle and Mary River cod.
Then drive over to Kandanga hall at midday for a celebration... food, entertainment and music  . For more details ph Glenda on 54843150 mb 0411443589.[/b] |
