I rang my neighbours earlier to tell them the news. They are directly affected by the dam and associated infrastructure. These bastards (the Gov) have messed everyone around so much, that these neighbours are too scared to be happy. And I mean genuine fear and trepidation. Is this just more of the Governments twisted games?
They sold their place because the Gov & QWI psychological warfare got to them and they couldn't help but believe that nothing could stop the dam. They were also lead to beleive that if they didn't sell in the early times, then they wouldn't get as much if the dam got approved. This is the only reason they sold, because they couldn't afford not to be paid the most they could get for their farm.
Right now, I'm going to enjoy this victory. Tomorrow I'll deal with the fact that the Gov has put everyone in limbo again. _________________ CESARE LOMBROSO "The ignorant man always adores what he cannot understand" |
