Just another very strange happening:-
Yesterday we had a blue helicopter circle our house 3 times and from one of our tennants' description, it appeared to be following the boundary of our house yard. A shame we didn't get it's reg'd number.
Anyone know who uses a blue copter?
Probably related to the blue drilling rig down near the proposed dam wall site.
I also should have mentioned that it was seen to head straight back in the direction of Gympie after doing its circles.... |

I understood it to be energex checking the lines as they followed the usual routes over our place. Back and forth before heading towards gympie and then turning around and heading back to the valley. Blue and white chopper with a camera on it's sled. _________________ CESARE LOMBROSO "The ignorant man always adores what he cannot understand" |

I was very jumpy too until I pulled myself up and realised that it looked like the energex chopper and camera doing it's thing. At one stage, because they were so low, I grabbed my binoculars to see if anyone we knew, might be sitting in it. It was only after it stopped at the Sanders road substation and came back along the powerlines and over behind our house that I decided it was Energex.
They usually announce the energex powerline checks in the Gympie Times, but I don't get the paper so never know if it's definitely them or not. _________________ CESARE LOMBROSO "The ignorant man always adores what he cannot understand" |
